Privacy Policy
Effective August 4, 2026
This policy describes how Pixel & Plug handles information when you visit pixelandplug.com or contact us. It is a practical site policy and should receive jurisdiction-specific legal review.
Information you provide
If you email us, your message may include your name, email address, and any information you choose to share. The contact form opens your own email application; it does not submit the form to a Pixel & Plug server.
Hosting and security information
The site may receive ordinary hosting logs such as an IP address, request time, requested URL, browser information, and security events. Cloudflare may process this information to deliver, protect, and operate the site.
Optional audience analytics
After you select “Accept analytics,” Pixel & Plug loads Google Analytics 4 using measurement ID G-MDRVFZP3P1. It helps us understand aggregated page views, referrals, general device and browser characteristics, approximate location, and interactions so we can improve the usefulness of our guides.
Analytics is disabled by default and the Google tag is not loaded after a decline. Our configuration disables Google Signals and advertising personalization. Google may process analytics information under its own privacy terms.
Cookies and local storage
We use local storage to remember your consent choice. If analytics is accepted, Google Analytics may set first-party identifiers such as _ga and _ga_*. See our Cookie Notice for controls and additional details.
Affiliate links
Approved affiliate links may include tracking parameters. A merchant or affiliate network may receive information when you follow a link, subject to its own privacy policy. Product links currently lead to manufacturer information until affiliate accounts are configured.
How information is used
- To respond to messages and correction requests.
- To operate, secure, and troubleshoot the site.
- To understand aggregated site use when analytics consent is granted.
- To document commercial referrals when affiliate links are active.
- To comply with legal obligations and prevent abuse.
Retention
We keep correspondence only as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose it was sent, ongoing editorial records, security, or legal requirements. Google Analytics data retention is managed in the associated Analytics property.
Your choices
You can decline analytics in the site notice, clear site storage to make a new choice, avoid sending personal information by email, and contact us about a message you previously sent. Applicable privacy rights vary by location.
Third-party information
For more information about Google’s practices, review the Google Privacy Policy.
